Workshops

We’ve successfully delivered workshops for a number of years on a wide range of topics; from activism, to body positivity, to banner making.

We’re always looking to expand in this area, so if you have an idea for a commission we’d be perfect for, get in touch! As a community of artists, activists, and party instigators, we’re all for anything that marries education, changemaking, and pure unadulterated fun.

Want to commission us to make work for your space or got an idea you’d like to pitch for us to produce?

Stick Together: Galentine’s Collage & Community

Girl Gang’s Galentines 2024 event Stick Together offered a chance to get together, make collages, celebrate and meet new pals. In celebration of friendship we hosted a special evening of collage and card making, set against a backdrop of an all-queens playlist.

Your Wreath, Your Way

Ho, ho, ho! From foraged foliage to recycled materials for Your Wreath, Your Way, we encouraged people to let their creativity run wild and create their craft-mas wreaths reflecting their own personal styles. Hosted at Bold co-working space and Fairfield Social our purse-friendly wreath making workshop were specifically designed to be both affordable and low-waste and offered an afternoon of friendly, facilitated fun with the gang – alongside a pop-up gift shop from Oklahoma, the GRUB Christmas tree shop, gift wrapping from Lifeshare and coffee pop-up from Foundation.

Introduction to Activism

We have delivered our ‘Introduction to Activism’ workshop for youth charities EY Foundation and RECLAIM (2019), as well as Manchester Metropolitan University (2018).

Do What You Love, Love What You Do

‘Do What You Love, Love What You Do’ is a workshop we held for the EY Foundation in 2019. The workshop focused on introducing soft skills and personal development concepts like intention setting and confidence building to help young people explore what they want to do.
